Nemrég sikerült szerttennem egy 2001-es NBFL-re s szeretnék csatlakozni a klubbhoz, ha ez lehetséges.

Thank you to all for your support.  The drive to Slovakia sounds interesting. I hope the weather will support this, too!  So far, the forecast is not encouraging.

I will definitely get in touch with David about service for my Miata/MX-5.  P.S. I am using Chrome and Google Translate to use this site. It is pretty good!

I also recommend David. He lives in Dunakeszi as well, and his garage is just the other side of the river, 15 min drive from Fót.

it must be hard for you to use a Hungarian speaking forum and its tools, I appreciate that Anyways, welcome in the Miata Club!  

There will be a longer tour to South Slovakia aiming to visit some castles and driving on curvy roads in the region. It's on next Sunday, 26 October. By using google translate or some enthusiastic club members you can find some information about the trip here: http://www.miata.hu/forum/?tid=4938&page=3 If you mind going with the club you can also sign up here. It's a great opportunity to meet with other Miata petrol heads before the winter comes and the cars go to sleep in their garages.

If there are problems with your Miata I'd strongly recommend the service of the club member Laleekirály (David) whose garage is in Budakalász, near to North Buda. He's the most acknowledged Miata expert in Hungary so if I were you I wouldn't turn to anyone else. His number is +36703669120. Good luck!

Only seven weeks?    From the time I put my car on the truck in Berkeley, CA (May 9) until I drove it in Hungary for the first time took 4 months, to the day! About half that time was to ship the car here, the rest of the time was doing all the things needed (including waiting) to get the car registered here.

Drove to Balatonakali this weekend. No engine heat problems I could see despite the placement of my front number plate. But now, for the first time since I bought the car in 2003, the check engine light is on.  Time to introduce myself to the service people at Emil Mazda, I think.

I have some time this week starting Wednesday. Might even be able to meet over the coming weekend.  Perhaps we can make arrangements offline. You can reach me at mark (at) markhaas (dot) net.
